"Thomas [Murphy] was born on 3 Oct. 1917 and was killed at the age of 68 on 28 Nov. 1985 in a hunting accident off the Bog Road in Leeds. He was born in Farmingdale and attended the Pittston school. He m. Ruth Haskell of Little Deer Isle on 13 Apr. 1952. They lived on the Bog Road. He was employed by the Maine Dept. of Trans., retiring in 1970. He was a member of the Leeds Nazarene Church. He was survived by his three sisters: Mrs. Rose Perkins and Kathleen Albee of Augusta, and Miss Esther Murphy of South Harpswell."

Thomas married Ruth Doloroes Haskell on 13 Apr 1952. Ruth was born on 17 Jun 1918 in Little Deer Isle, Hancock County, Maine; died on 20 Mar 2001. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
