    SHERMAN Albert A. Sergt. Age 24. Uxbridge. M. Sept 25, 1861.



    Corp., Sergt. Wounded (slight) June 18, 1863, Middleburg. Wounded in head, Nov. 27, 1863, New Hope Church. Re-enlisted Jan. 31, 1864.



    Transferred to Co. F at consol. Of regt. Oct. 1864. Sergt. To Co. H Apr. 7, 1865. Exp. June 26, 1865.

    (Research):On March 17, 1864, a dispensation was given by Grand Lodge to confer three degrees the same night to Albert A. Sherman, a soldier in the Civil War still raging. (Solomon's Temple Lodge of Freemasonry, Uxbridge, MA).
