The notes in this genealogical history were transposed by Joseph S. Hall, Jr, whose wife Patricia A. Daignault is desecended through Henry Fitch Barrows, brother of Albert Barrows whose first wife was Mary Jane Slate.



In transposing the written notes to this typed written works, it was noted that Mary Jane Slate died 3 Sep 1849 and her daughter, Mary Jane Barrows, was born 31 Oct 1849. It is believed that the date of birth is wrong and that Mary Jane
(Slate) Barrows died during childbrith. If not, then it's possible that the dates were transposed in the original writing and the date of birth of Mary Jane Barrows is actually the date of death of her mother, and that her cause of death may
have been due to complications of childbirth. In either case, verification of this data is highly suggested.

Mary married Albert Barrows on 20 Jan 1848. Albert (son of Samuel Barrows, Jr. and Lora Parker) was born on 27 Jun 1825; died on 10 Nov 1902; was buried in Willimantic Cemetery, Willimantic, CT. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Notes:

Mary Jane Barrows had no children by either one of her two marriages.

Mary married John H. Olmsted on 11 Jul 1878. John was born about 1831; died on 31 Oct 1880 in Willimantic, CT; was buried in Ridgefield, CT. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
