    Notes:

    Mr. Leonard Barrows was both a farmer and a carpenter. After he was married, his father gave him the souteast one third of his farm situated one mile west of the Spring Hill Baptist Churtch in the town of Mansfield, CT. On this farm of about
    sixty-five acres he built a good and substantial house and barn, where he lived while he remained in Mansfield. About the year 1866, he sold this farm and with his family, moved to Hickoryport, Grundy County, MO. After purchasing land, he
    erected a hours and other buildings where he lived the remainder of his life. He died of pneumonia, Oct 20, 1886, aged 65 yeras. He was buried in the Antiock Cemetery in North Missouri. After his death, his widow lived with her daughter,
    Mrs. Flora (Barrows) Brown in Inman, KS where she died Oct 18, 1904, aged 84 years. She was buried in Inman, KS beside other near relatives.
