Mrs. May Hall Dies at Socorro
SOCORRO, Jan. 14 (AP) Mrs. May Exter Hall, wife of the postmaster at Magdalena, died this morning at the New Mexico Institute of Mines Hospital. She was 62.
Mrs. Hall suffered a heart attack Thursday and was taken to the hospital.
She was born in Kelly, N. M., a mining community four miles from Magdalena, and spent her life there and in Magdalena.
She married A. M. Hall, postmaster, in 1914 and was prominent in civic affairs.
Survivors include two brothers, Albert Exter, owner of the Exter Mortuary in Albuquerque, and Simeon Exter, Cincinnati, O.; a son, Nathan, of Magdalena; daughter, Mrs. Jake Scott of Reserve; two grandsons and three granddaughters.
The Very Rev. L. W. Clark of St. John's Cathedral, Albuquerque, will conduct Episcopal services at the Steadman Funeral Home in Socorro Wednesday,
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque.

HALL -- Mrs. May Hall, wife, of Mr. Hezehiah Hall, lifelong resident of Magdalent, N. M., died in Socorro hospital early Monday morning. Mrs. Hall was a member of the Episcopal church and besides her husband, is survived, by a daughter, Mrs. Jake Scott of Reserve, N. M.; a son, Nathan Hall of Magdalens; two brothers. A. J. Exter of Albuquerque, and Sim Exter of Cincinnati, Ohio, and by five grandchildren. Services will be held at the Stedman Mortuary in Socorro, at 2 Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. George P. LaBarre will officiate. Burial will be In Sunset Memorial Park here.
May married Hezekiah Hall in 1914. Hezekiah (son of Nathan H. Hall and Alice Maud Nokes) was born on 19 Nov 1889 in Washington, District of Columbia, District of Colombia; died in 1966; was buried after 1966 in Sunset Memorial Park, Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico.
