Mrs. Edith P. Hopkins Was Concert Pianist

ALLENDALE --  A service for Mrs. Edith P. Hopkins, 90, of 82 Elmwood Ave., retired concert pianist, was to be conducted this afternoon at 4 in the funeral home at 109 Darlington Ave. Ramsey, by the Rev. O. C. Nelson. of Waldwick Methodist Church. Burial will be private.

Mrs. Hopkins died Tuesday in the Ramapo Nursing Home, Airmont. N. Y., after a long illness. A native of Medford, Mass.. she was the widow of Henry Stephen Hopkins.

Surviving are two nephews, B. Perry Hamilton, with whom she had resided here, and R. R. Perry, of New York City.

Edith married Henry Stephen "Harry" Hopkins on 21 Jul 1899 in Camden, Knox County, Maine. Henry (son of Henry Bridgeman Hopkins and Emily Alice Hough) was born on 23 Jul 1861 in Peoria, Peoria County, Illinois; died on 21 Nov 1933 in Manhattan, New York County, New York; was buried on 23 Nov 1933.
