Grandma Lou Belle Phillips Hall died on May Day, 1963. She was married to our grandfather, Henry Lorenzo Hall, 6 years her senior and they had issue of five children. Their eldest and only daughter, Irene, and four boys, Phillip R. (1904), Herbert Lorenzo (1906), Stanley R. (1913), and the youngest Kenneth Learned (1918).

Being only six the last time I saw her, I do remember Grandma as being a spotless housekeeper and the grandchildren were always warned not to touch anything. In later years all the grandchildren grew up and learned to make our homes "childproof" ha ha.

If there's any cousin or relative or someone who knew her and our grandfather Henry well, please send me that info so I will be able to update her eulogy??? thanks!

In fond memory of our father, Herbert, at his passing. He lived most of his life in Willow Grove, Pa, and had three sons, my brother Jim (Herbert Jr.), myself and Carl, who lives in Strafford, New Hampshire, where most of our father's side of the Hall family began.

Herbert is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Rest in peace Dad, and we will see you soon in Christ's awesome kingdom of Heaven - where nothing ever offends.

According to his will and wishes, Dad's ashes were spread on the University of New Hampshire's campus in an undisclosed spot known only to family members.
