obert F. Hall Jr., 64, of High Street, Plainville, died on Thursday in the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the beloved husband of Kim (Nguyen) Hall to whom he had been married since 1970.

Born in Fall River on June 5, 1944, he was a son of the late Robert F. and Mary ( Mullaney ) Hall. He was a graduate of the Durfee High School in Fall River and the Roger Williams College in Rhode Island and had also attended Lesley College in Cambridge. He served in the Army National Guard and also the United States Air Force for twenty one years. He was a retired Vice President of Operations, having worked for Hardric Co. on North Chelmsford. He had also been employed for many years at Metal Bellows in Walpole. An avid out of doors man, he enjoyed fishing, biking, and playing golf. He was also a local sports fan and enjoyed watching the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox, particularly during their recent winning seasons.

In addition to his devoted wife Robert is survived by two loving daughters, Tara Nguyen Hall of Framingham, and Lan Anh Hall of Harrisburg, NC. He was the dear brother of David Hall of Bridgewater, Michael Hall of Granby, Kris Hall of Florida, and of Kathleen Roy of Bridgewater.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South Street, Route 1A, Wrentham Centre, on Sunday from 4-8 PM. Cremation will follow. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718
