    The death of Miss Mary E. Hall, an inmate of Smith Memorial Home, occurred shortly after midnight this morning.

    Miss Hall had been ill for quite awhile, but death was due to heart failure and was not expected. Miss Hall had been an inmate of the home for 14 years. Her mother was Mrs. Sarah Hall, who died about 15 years ago, and her father, Samuel G. Hall, who died many years previous.
