    In Russell Township, Geauga county, on Friday, March 30th, at the residence of his son-in-law, Anson Mathews, Esq., Mr. LYMAN DURAND, formerly of Cheshire, N. Haven county, Connecticut, aged 78 years. Mr. Durand emigrated to this county, (then Geauga,) in June, 1806, on the day of the great eclipse. "Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord: yea saith the Spirit, for they rest from their labors, and their works do follow them."
