MRS. S.E. HALL DEAD
Mrs. S.E. Hall, widow of the late S.E. Hall, died at 1:10 this (Thursday) morning after a short illness. She has long been a resident of this community. She was 79 years old. Funeral arrangements are awaiting the arrival of her children. She is survived by two sons living in Kansas City and two daughters, one living north of Bentonville. MRS. S.E. HALL LAID TO REST
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah B. Sommars Hall, widow of the late S.E. Hall, were held at the Nazarene Church Sunday afternoon, the Rev. W.O. Felts conducting he services. Burial was made in the Bentonville cemetery. Music was by the church choir. Pall bearers included: Charles Marple, Sam Bell, Bob Rucker, Harvey Alcorn, Herman Carr and W. R. Cammiel.
Mrs. Hall was born in Albemarle County, Virginia Dec. 12, 1856. She had lived in Bentonville for nearly 25 years. She was a devout church member throughout life, uniting with the Methodist church at an early age, and joining the Church of the Nazarene a few years ago. She has been in poor health the past year and was rarely able to leave her home. She became critically ill a few days before her death.
Surviving are two sons, W.H. and Emmett Wood of Kansas City and by two daughters, Mrs. Elise Wheeler of Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. C.E. Sommars of near Bentonville. A sister, Mrs. Lelia Vernois of Topeka, 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive her.
