    Born Marigold Frances Churchill, the fourth child of Clementine Hozier and Sir Winston Churchill, only four days after the Armistace ending WWI. At age two she contracted what was reported as a cold. The illness progressed quietly, however, worsening until an apparent resultant blood infection attacked her immune system. She succumbed to illness some seven weeks before her third birthday.
