Erma Elizabeth Gosnell, age 89, of Richmond, died Friday, March 26, 2010, at Ambassador Health Care.
She was born Dec. 21, 1920, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Clarence and Kathryn Hall Renschler. She was a clerk at S.S. Kresge for many years. She was a member of Centerville First Baptist Church and the Naomi Happy Travelers. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Shewman of Richmond; two sons, Robert Carroll Cullen of California and Charles Jefferies of Westfield; one sister, Betty Line of Columbus; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; and several nieces; nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Chester Gosnell, Charles Albert Jefferies and Robert Cullen Wedding; one son, Marvin Jefferies; her parents; one sister, Evelyn Jones; and two brothers, Lester and Howard Renschler.
A graveside service was at Sharon Hill Cemetery.
