    Claire E. Reever

    MILFORD, NH -- Claire E. Reever, 86, resident of Milford, NNNH died on December 10, 2017 at Ledgewood Bay, Milford, NH.

    She was born in Laconia, NH on December 21, 1930, the daughter of Leo Lemere, Sr. and Maude (Hall) Lemere. Claire was raised and educated in Laconia and graduated from Laconia High School, Class of 1948 and Becker College, Worcester, MA.

    Claire resided in Milford for forty-eight years, where she raised her family and was active in the community, serving as a board member at the Pillsbury Home in Milford, NH and volunteering at the Souhegan Nursing Association.

    She was predeceased by her son, Scott M. Reever, who died in 2011.

    Family members include her loving husband of sixty-five years, Melvin E. Reever of Milford, NH; two daughters and a son-in-law, Shelley Reever and Mark Hichar of Westwood, MA, and Kathy Peppers of Bedford, NH; a son, Mark Reever of Milford, NH; three grandchildren, Sarah Peppers, Matthew Hichar and Jennifer Hichar; a great-granddaughter, Ayla O'Toole; a brother, Leo "Joe" Lemere, Jr. of Acton, MA; many nieces and nephews.

    Memorial visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 15th from 2:00-4:00pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 16th at 10:00am in St. Patrick's Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford, NH.  Burial will be private at a later date.
