Amasa Angell Redfield Dead.

HARTFORD, Oct 19 -- Amasa Angell Redfield, a retired New York lawyer, died in Farmington this morning, aged 66 years. He was the author of several books on phases of surrogate law.  He was a member of the Connecticut constitutional convention from the town of Farmington.

Obituary:
REDFIELD.-- On Sunday, Oct. 19, at Farmington, Conn., Amasa A. Redfield, in the 66th year of his age. Funeral services at his late residence in Farmington on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 4 P.M.

Amasa married Sarah Louise Cooke in 1863. Sarah (daughter of Robert Latimer Cooke and Caroline Eliza VanDeventer) was born about 1834 in Virginia; died on 3 Nov 1899 in New York, New York County, New York; was buried after 3 Nov 1899 in Bloomfield Cemetery, Bloomfield, Essex County, New Jersey.
