Lyle W. Hall, age 83 of Hesperia, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at his home in Newfield Township following a long illness. Lyle was born on October 6, 1925 in Leavitt Township, Oceana County, the son of Chauncey and Anna (Farber) Hall. Lyle met and later married Rose Marie Dempkey on June 4, 1946 in Hart and Rose preceded him in death on July 31, 1994. Lyle served in the United States Army Air Corps from 1945 '96 1947. Lyle had worked at the Teledyne Continental Motors Company in Muskegon for several years until his retirement in 1983. Lyle had been a lifelong resident of the area where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working around his home.
Lyle is survived by his sons, Dennis Hall of Norton Shores; Scott Hall of Hesperia; his daughters, Sandra (Alvin) Mendham of Holton; Diane (Bill) Myers of Hesperia; Karen (Ron) Ward of Hesperia; Bonnie Webster of Muskegon; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; his son-in-law, Ric VanAvery of Hesperia; his sister, Vera Blaisdell of Jackson; his brother, Carl Hall of Fremont.
Lyle was preceded in death by his wife, Rose in 1994; his daughter, Jannet VanAvery in 2004; and by 4 grandchildren, Shelly Elaine Mendham; Nicolas VanAvery; Lee Myers; and Chuckie Myers; his sister, Clara Dailey; his brothers, Henry Hall and Norman Hall.
VISITATION : Friday, July 31, 2009 from 2-4 at Crandell Funeral Home '96 Fremont Chapel.
FUNERAL SERVICES : Friday, July 31, 2009 at 4pm at the funeral home.
INTERMENT and MILITARY RITES : East Hesperia Cemetery.
