Amye Hottel Childs

Brookeville, Md. —  Amye Hottel Childs, 80, of Brookeville passes away Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Born on her family's farm in Brookeville, she was the daughter of the late Durus Co. and Evolyn Knotts Hottel.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dan Childs, and two children, and also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She also leaves many lifelong friends in Montgomery County and those who have retired in Ocean City.
