    Notes:

    From FindaGrave:

Mr. Stephen Stanwood Hall, 82, a lifelong resident of Dennis, died at a nursing home last Thursday. He lived on New Boston road in what is said to be the oldest house in the town, and he was considered an authority on Cape Cod history. Mr. Hall was the son of Freeman G. and Mary (Crocker) Hall. He was once employed in the grocery business in Boston, but most of his life he was a farmer, raising cranberries and strawberries. Well known for his tenor voice, Mr. Hall formerly sang in the church choir.

Funeral services were held in the Union church Sunday afternoon, Rev. Stanley T. Plumer, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Dennis cemetery.

A brother, Mr. Francis Tobey Hall of Brookline survives, with 16 nephews and nieces.

Attending the services from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hall of New York city, Mrs. Stanwood Howes of Summit, New Jersey. Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Hall, Jr. of Brockton, Mr. Wallace Howes of Newtonville, Mr. Thomas Embler of Yarmouth and several relatives and friends from South Dennis.
