ELIJAH HUDSON, LUMBERMAN, DIES

After a six day illness, Elijah Hudson, president of the Central Lumber company, died today at Northwestern hospital. Mr. Hudson, whose residence was at 1809 Fremont avenue S., was 67 years old.

Mr. Hudson is survived by his wife, Lucy; two daughters, Mrs. Norman Kraff of Minneapolis and Mrs. Harold Hall of Los Angeles; a son, Lyle Hudson of Minneapolis and three grandchildren.

Born in Madison, Wis., Mr. Hudson became general manager of the Central Lumber company when it was organized in 1898 and became president at the death of E. J. Carpenter. He was a member of the Minneapolis club, the Minikahda club and the Long Meadow Gun club.
