    Notes:

    From Robert Cooley, November 2022:

Comments: working from Hezekiah Hall 1817

One son Nathan moved to New Mexico in the late 1800's because the doctor said to take his wife Alice Maude Nokes someplace it was dry. He was part of a mining company from Pittsburg, PA. Nathan had a ranch and mine in Copper Canyon off of Water Canyon, NM which was a watering stop for locomotives.

Nathan and Alice had several children. Hezekiah (postmaster Magdelna,NM); Harriett, Nan (Marianne?) Hall Hanson and Ida M Hall Cooley. When Nathan died he was taken on the train to Wallingford for burial by his daughter Ida and grandson Jim.

Hezekiah was married to Mary Exter Hall and had a son named Nathan and daughter named Alice. He married again after Mary died to May Hall. I do not have the full history on the rest other than Harriett going to California.

Ida M. Hall married Harry Washington Cooley and had a son named James Harry Cooley (1925 to 2002, Okla City). James Harry has a daughter Karen Michelle Cooley Howard, a son Joe Bradford Cooley and a daughter Lisa Janelle Cooley. Karen Michelle has a son John Michael Howard and a daugher Kendra Leigh Howard. Lisa Janelle has a son Goodsten Quinsey Cooley Winters and a son Noa Hezekiah Cooley Winters. Joe Bradford has no known children.

I will look at the history I have from Dad … have something somewhere in writing that may have more on his great aunts.

Attached is New Mexico Hezekiah son's headstone and an Ad that had Dad's grandfather listed as the Supt of Mines. I found these things online doing some digging.

    Other history here…..

James H. first wife –  Gwen Atkinson, Midwest City, OK. (daughter Karen Michelle son Joe Bradford)
James H. second wife –  Carol L. Coates Smith Cooley, Oklahoma City (daughter Lisa Janelle)

Robert Kevin Smith Cooley (James H. stepson).
