Obituary:
A. E. Hall Funeral in West Haven
The funeral cortege of Arthur E, Hall, 48 of West Haven formerly of this town, is expected to arrive here this afternoon about 4 o'clock. The body will be placed In the vault in In Memoriam cemetery.
Mr Hall's body was found by his wife on Monday night in the cellar of their home. Medical examiner Victor A Kowalewskl said Hall committed suicide by shooting.
Besides his widow, Mr. Hail is survived by his mother, a brother Dr Warren Hall of Toledo, Ohio, and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Edwards of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Deceaaed lived here for many years and attended the local public schools. For many years he lived on North Whittlesey avenue, his father being employed as foreman at the press room at the Wallace factory.
For the past seven years, the deceased had been manager of the All Rail Coal company in West Haven. He was well known there and highly esteemed. No reason is given for his rash act.
The funeral services will be held this afternoon at the funeral home of Seth N. Taylor, Main street, West Haven at 2 o'clock.
Arthur married Anna M. Walters about 1911. Anna was born on 24 Oct 1887 in Wallingford, New Haven County, Connecticut; died on 7 Dec 1984 in Kissimmee, Osceola County, Florida; was buried after 8 Dec 1984 in In Memoriam Cemetery, Wallingford, New Haven County, Connecticut.
