Mrs. Joanna (Berry) Briggs, wid of Sam'l Briggs, was mar. to Eld. Nathaniel Chase, Jan 13, 1833, after Jemima's death. She was the dau. of Dea. William Berry, and Joanna (Doane) Berry.

In 1860 Buckfield Census, she was living in HH with Thomas Chase, her step-son, and family. She was 88 yrs then and lived a couple years longer.

She and Nathaniel had several children together.
