- FRAMINGHAM - Charles Edward Kiley III, 66, of Framingham, died Saturday, May 29, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of 48 years to Beverly (Colbath) Kiley. Charlie was born in Boston and was the son of the late Charles E. Kiley Jr., and survived by his mother, Virginia Sickles.
He was a pioneer in the recycling industry having won many awards during his distinguished career. Before retiring in 2006, Charlie was the superintendent at the Town of Wayland's Recycling and Landfill Department for over 20 years.
He was an avid gardener and loved going on walks. He was happiest spending time with his family.
He was the devoted and loving father of Michael A. Kiley of Framingham, Tracy Elliott and her husband, Bruce, of Vineyard Haven, Lynn Kiley-Lee and her husband, Russ, of Chevy Chase, Md., and Pamela Kiley of Waltham; and his beloved grand daughter, Alyson Kiley - Elliott. He is also survived by his siblings, Robert Feeley, Mary Ann Kiley, Donna Gagnon, Patty Nasco, Susan Conroy and Joanie Kiley.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Duckett Funeral Home with visiting hours for relatives and friends, Wednesday, June 2, from 4 to 7 p.m., with an open memorial service immediately following at the Duckett-J.S.Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Road (Rte. 20), Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the memory of Charles E. Kiley to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
