  • Notes
    • From Susan Adams, April 2025:

My Dad's brother, Trevor Adams (Uncle Trevor) lived in New Rochelle with his young wife, Ruth Higgins Adams and adopted son, Timmy. Ruthie went on as the Editor of BRIDE'S MAGAZINE or so I was told. We knew her as aunt Ruthie. Lovely woman.   Born May 24, 1914. Died: March 1, 2005

Uncle Trevor was EIGHT YEARS older than my father and was in broadcasting as well . Trevor died of a heart attack at a young age (37?) at Delmonico's Steak House in the city, I don't recall ever meeting him so it must've been 1954, I was born in 1955.

After uncle Trevor's passing, dad tried to help the young widow, Ruthie  with her boy, who of course was distraught. The boy had a tough go of it-adopted then losing the father he'd ever known.
