Lynn Hall, 84, of Vineland passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at Genesis HealthCare Millville Center.
Lynn was born in Vineland to the late Lyndon and Mildred (Woods) Hall.
He had remained in Vineland for 84 years. Lynn served in the Merchant Marines. He worked for Kimble Glass for 35 years as a foreman in the silk screening department. After his retirement, he went back to work as a consultant for Lab Glass for 10 years. Lynn was a volunteer fireman in South Vineland. He was a member of the North Italy Club, Elks Club, American Legion Post No. 4, and Menanico Gun Club. Lynn was an avid hunter. He enjoyed crabbing, fishing, gardening and watching football on Sundays. Lynn was a professional horseshoe and dart thrower. Lynn was a excellent cook. He especially enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners and making his famous chili for Sunday football gatherings
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Theresa (Chielli) Hall of Vineland; son and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Irene Hall of Norristown, Pa.; son and companion, Terry Hall and Mirtha Cortes of Mays Landing; grandson, Christopher Hall; and grandson and fiancée, Lynn Hall and Becka Smith.
A funeral home visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, followed by a funeral liturgy at 11 a.m. from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 E. Chestnut Ave., Vineland. Interment will follow at Siloam Cemetery in Vineland.
Arrangements are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 E. Chestnut Ave., Vineland.
