Aft 19 Feb 2010 |
- Meadow Valley resident Charles Bruce Hall passed from this life peacefully, Friday morning, February 19th, 2010 at his residence with his wife at his side.
Born in Oroville, California to the late Charles and Marsha (Hipes) Hall on November 11th, 1938, he was raised and educated in Oroville graduating from Oroville High School. He went on to attend Butte College where he was just a couple of units shy of obtaining his AA degree.
Charlie resided in Oroville until moving to Greenville, CA fifteen years ago. After residing in Greenville for five years he and his wife relocated to Meadow Valley where they have resided for the past ten years.
On September 26th, 1964 in Reno, Nevada Charlie married his childhood friend, the former Carol Mix whom he had become reacquainted with while attending church.
Charlie had a forty year career in the Lumber Industry retiring as a certified lumber grader. He enjoyed carving Native American pipes as well as all types of animals. Charlie was an avid believer in the power of prayer and obtained great solace in praying for those in need. Adopted into the Maidu Nation, Charlie took great pride in the Native American heritage shown him by his forefathers.
In passing Charlie leaves his wife and loving caregiver of over forty five years; Carol of Meadow Valley, sons; Leslie Warren Hall and his wife Mara of San Leandro, CA, Ethan Wayne Hall and his wife Regina and Jonathan Rose all of Greenville, CA, a daughter; Belinda Jean Stevens and her husband Bob of Oroville, CA, sisters; Ressie Lloyd of Albany, Oregon and Donna Graf of Gridley, CA, his grandchildren Robin, Travis, Shateka, Ethan and Katie Lee along with his great granddaughter; Macayla Faith.
Along with his parents he joins his brother Floyd in their eternal home.
A celebration of Charlie's life will be announced at a later date. Interment will take place in the Nevada City Rancheria Cemetery. An opportunity to express your condolences to the family along with signing the memorial guest register is available online at www.fehrmanmortuary.com.
