  From FindaGrave: John Sr. made his will on 9 April 1716, to which he added a codicil 17 Aug 1725. In his will he bequeaths to a wife Sarah and to six sons: John born 1682, Benjamin born about 1685, Edward born about 1691, Nathaniel born 23 Nov 1693, Jeremiah born 20 Sept 1697 and Jacob born 22 Nov 1701. Sarah born 7 Jan 1695 and Samuel born 27 1699 preceded their father in death.
