  • Notes
    • From FindaGrave:

Jane was the daughter of William & Martha (Ford) Nelson.

She married in Plymouth on Dec. 13, 1672 Elder Thomas Faunce who was ordained Deacon of the First Church of Plymouth, Dec. 26, 1686, also Town Clerk of Plymouth from 1685 to 1723. He was the last ruling Elder of the First Church in Plymouth.

Note: "Burial Hill in the 1990's" did not find a stone for Mrs Jane Faunce. Kingman did document her stone between 1852-1892, but it was not found in the 1990's.

Jane's gravemarker may have been between her daughter Priscilla and her husband Thomas. As shown in the cemetery picture there is an empty spot between them.
