"Hall, Levi, Grace, W19743, VT Line, soldier applied 12 Nov 1833, Caledonia Co., VT, aged 73, a resident of Barnet, VT, and he lived there at enl, soldier was born in Dec 1759 at Northampton, MA, widow applied 9 Aug 1843, Caledonia Co., VT, aged 77, soldier married Grace Hall in the spring of 1784 at Isle La Motte, VT, soldier died 7 Jul 1841 at Barnet, VT, children were: Ephraim born 1 Oct 1790, Sally born 3 Feb 1793 & died 22 Apr 1798, Susanna born 22 May 1796, Orin born 20 Mar 1798, Enoch born 14 Jul 1800, all recorded at Waterford, VT."

(2) 1790 Barnet, Orange, Vt. Federal Census listing for Levi Hall has one white male in the "16 yrs. & upwards, including heads of families", one male "under 16 yrs.", and one free white female, respectively. This household is next door to that of Jacob Hall.
(3) 1810 Waterford, Caledonia, Vt. Federal Census listing for Levi Hall has 2 white males in the "under 10", 2 males in the "10 thru 15", one male in the "16 thru 25", and one male in the "45 & over" age group categories, respectively. One white female in the "under 10", one female in the "10 thru 15", and one female in the "26 thru 44" age group categories, round out this family grouping.
(4) 1820 Barnet, Caledonia, Vt. Federal Census listing for Levi Hall has one white male child in the "10 & under 16", 3 males in the "16 & under 26", and one male in the "45 & upwards" age group categories, respectively. One white female in the "under 10", one female in the "16 & under 26", and one female in the "45 & upwards" age group categories, round out this family grouping.
(5) 1830 Barnet, Caledonia, Vt. Federal Census listing for Levi Hall has one white male in the "20 & under 30", and one male in the "60 & under 70" age group categories. One white female in the "15 & under 20", and one female in the "50 & under 60" age group categories, round out this family grouping. This household is next door to the Nathaniel Hall household on one side, and the Orrin Hall household on the other.
[sub-note] There is also a "Moses Hall" ("40 & under 50") listed in this same census. No concrete evidence, however, to list him as a son of Levi & Grace.
(6) 1840 Barnet, Caledonia, Vt. Federal Census listing for Nathaniel Hall has Levi Hall residing in this household at 79 yrs. of age (clearly, though rarely identified because of his listing in a special category under the heading "Pensioners for Revolutionary or Military Services Included in the Foregoing" (endquote) and the next box asks for the age of the individual. **Enoch Hall resides in the residence next door.
